Reproductive Justice

This program area works to ensure that all Montanans have the ability to decide if and when they start a family and what their families look like. This means access to accurate information; access to primary and reproductive healthcare including abortion care; and access to programs and services including adoption services and foster care. We understand that Montana families are diverse and can be structured in a lot of different ways. From single parents, to grandparents raising grandchildren, to young parents, to same-sex couples, we want to ensure that all families are recognized and respected in our state. Reproductive Justice is part of the human rights movement because reproductive justice exists when all people have the social, political, and economic power and resources to make healthy decisions about our gender, bodies, and sexuality for ourselves, our families, and our communities.
